And it had an amazing start. We had an ERD (Early Release Day) that means we got out of school at 11:45 pm. Ashley came over and I showed her my potential Homecoming dresses that I brought from Germany with me. After that we cruised around and had a big lunch at JACK IN THE BOX and drank my very first DR PEPPER, soo good. We headed to the park and chillaxed a while with her cousin Jennifer and Nick (Ashley's boyfriend). Too bad that I only had like 2 hours because of volleyball practise. :/

After I got home from volleyball practise I got ready for my first football game ever. It was going to be a big event since we were facing ST CHARLES WEST. It was SO much fun to cheer and to support the team. We took lots of pictures! :)
However, we lost. But we did pretty good.

Emily and I went to Taylor's house afterwards. She is one of Emily's best friends. We lay on top of her car, ate doughnuts, talked, laughed and just had FUUUN.

We won our first home game yesterday! yeeeah. :D Coach Wootten was so proud of us. :D We lost the first game and won the second and third one. (:

I had plans with Ashley and Monika for that night - Midriver's Mall. I was supposed to be home at 6:30 pm. However, we had to wait till the Varsity game was over and it was really really intense. That's why it took so long. It's a pity they lost. We deserved it. Anyways, I was home at 7.15 pm. I'm glad that Jenna's mom gave me a quick ride home. :D I took a shower, ate and got ready. Ashley and her boyfriend Nick picked me and Monika finally up. We arrived at the mall at 8.30ish pm. :D So we had like half an hour to walk around and to see what a true American mall looks like, it is not supposed to be one of the best malls though. :D But it reminds me A LOT of galeria krakowska <3 I miss it so freaking much.
We didn't really buy anything..but I hope we go there again soon. :D Afterwards we had a slushy and relaxed in a park. At 10 pm I was dropped off my house. (: It was an amazing day.

Tonight I went with Gianna and Abby to a carnival. Janet, Kim, Michael and Jaden joined us. Niko, Nick and Elise were there also and I got to know Tyler, one of Niko's friend. There were a loooot of Pattonville people and Gianna introduced me to almost all of her friends. :D I also met a French exchange student going to Pattonville.
And I had a funnel cake. Dude, that was yum!

3 days of weekend.

3 days of weekend, yaay. (:
But it's just too bad that most of my friends went camping, had family reunions or simply had no time.
Anyways, it was great to have 3 days off school. On Friday I spent the night at Niko's house. He picked me up after Janet, Kim, Michael and I rode our bikes down the river. We watched 2 movies but I can only remember one called 'The Goonies'. As far as I can remember I fell asleep while watching the 2nd movie. :D The next day Janet picked me up for a hike. The whole family except of Niko went to the Castlewood Statepark. It was beautiful weather! As we walked through the forrest I had to think about the hike to Wippra (Anja and Hanna :D). On Sunday Kim's son Vince came over since it was his birthday. We had a small barbecue together and in the evening Niko took me to his house again. There we met some of his friends, Nick and Elise. He hooked them up 2 years ago, so cute. (: We went to Nick's house and hung out in his hotpot, goosh that was so relaxing. I liked it. Afterwards we went to Niko's house again and watched a movie.
That's pretty much it what happened this weekend!

2nd place in volleyball tournament!

Today we had our first tournament in McCluer High and we were pretty successful! :D

At first we faced Hazelwood and McCluer North. We won both games! The atmosphere was amazing! I could feel the spirit all the time. :D It's so different from Germany and I'm glad to be able to experience that.
It was even more exciting as we lost our very first regular games. That's why we didn't expect much and it was kinda surprising how high we scored. :D
We lost our 3rd game against Timberland though. It was just one point making the difference but hey..we're 2nd place! LET'S GO PIRATES!!!
The bus ride home was maybe the funniest part. Everyone was in a good mood and it was just awesome! :D

We had our first game on Monday and yesterday.(: We lost though.:( But hey, these were only regular games, not like a tournament that we'll have tomorrow. OMG, I'm so excited. I really hope that we win this time. It would be way too embarrassing otherwise.

Yesterday I went over to Emily's house. (: That was fuuun. :D She picked me up after I got home from my volleyball game. Michaela also joined us. It was just the 3 of us talking, hanging put, listening to music etc. :D

I was very late this morning as I didn't hear my alarm clock but fortunatelly I was right on time at school. It's pretty convenient not to depend on a school bus and live that close to school. :D
