August 4 - August 6

Let's sum up what happened the last 3 days here.

Wednesday, August 4.

That was like my real first day in America. Too bad that I had to get up at 8 am because of school registration at SCHS (St Charles High School). :/ Pictures following by the way. ;) Oh I love it so much, it's like I always imagined my future HS should be, so typical American. But kind of confusing though. All the hallways look so similar. I was like 'Oh my gosh?! This is it? Way too cool. :D' Niko, Gianna and Abby went with me. I had to fill out some paperwork with regard to my schedule, my courses and clubs and my student's ID meaning taking a picture for it and I think it will be used for yearbook, too. We'll see.
Afterwards we were heading back home for lunch + hanging out at the pool and trampoline at their dad's house. (:

Thursday, August 5.
Had French toast for breakfast, yaay. very yummy :D. Janet and I went to my school again because we had to change my schedule and try to open my locker as it didn't when we were there the day before. And it still doesn't open! That sucks.
Afterwards we went to Janet's HS (St Charles West High School) for a couple of hours. Niko, Jaden and Michael have been at their dad's house since they were leaving for Florida the next day. Gianna couldn't go because of volleyball try outs. I'm gonna have mine on next Monday, wish me luck guys! Janet, Kim (her boyfriend), Gianna and I had chicken, fries and corn for dinner. After finishing dinner we headed to PHS (Pattonville High School) because of Gianna's school registration. Gianna, Abby, her mom and I went to TGI Friday's afterwards. And OMG, this place is just SO amazing. (: The salad is super delicous.
Back at home we made cookies and brownies for the next day! It was a lot of fun. :)

Friday, August 6.

We had to get up early today, like 7 am as we were leaving for Johnson's Shut-Ins. :D It took us 2 hours with car to get there. It's like lots of rocks, cliffs and water..pretty much fun with Janet, Kim, Gianna and Abby. :D You can swim, jump off the rocks or just relax there. On our way back home we stopped at the Elephant Rocks State Park. (: It was an amazing view from the top pf the rocks, but kinda difficult to climb up all the stones with flipflops though! :D Anyways, nice trip.
In the evening I went to the grocery store with Kim to run some errands and I could bring our shopping in this typical brown bag home, haha. (: That made my day, really. :D I love figureing out the American way of life. And guess what? I'm gonna keep that bag! xD
Janet, Kim and I just came in after sitting outside on the front porch for a while. It's a really nice evening. (: The weather is great and will stay nice for the next few weeks.
Alrightyy, it's getting late. Tomorrow is shopping day, food and clothing. Tomorrow evening we're gonna head to the City Museum!

See you! <3
