October 23 - Girls Night

Tonight was ladies night at Haliey's house. :)
We ordered pizza, carved pumpkins, watched a movie (13 ghosts - that's a good one)and had a nice fire outside. That was awesome.:D I got to know Beth (one of Haliey's friends), James (Haliey's boyfriend) and Kayla (James' sister).

October 18 - Senior Night

Yesterday SCHS hosted the big Pink Game against Pattonville (Gianna's HS) fighting against breast cancer. All teams were supposed to wear pink, the gym was decorated with pink balloons and every woman got a pink flower when entering.

At the same time was Senior Night. That evening all seniors of our Volleyball teams were honored. Pictures of them were hung around the gym and the seniors got also some presents from the coaches and the JV and Freshmen team. All of the seniors' parents came to that night and the Coach held a short speech for each for them. It was awesooome. :)

October 15 - Bonfire

October 13 - Meramec Caverns

Last week I went on a fieldtrip with the German exchange students from Ludwigsburg staying for 3 weeks. It was a 2 hours drive to Meramec Caverns. The cave itself was not thaaat interesting but it was still fun as I could get to know the other Germans! :)

BRANSON.

Last week was our trip to Branson! It was a kinda last-minute decision which caused some trouble. I'm still sorry about that guys.

Anyways, Cindy picked me up on Wednesday afternoon to bring me over to her house so that we could leave on Thursday early in the morning. On our way to Sullivan (where she lives) we picked up a couple of other exchange students that were gonna spend the night at Cindy's house. So I got the chance to see where the others live and I am SO lucky where I live. Some of the others live waay out in the country, on a farm or something. Omg, I could never deal with that.
After a 4 hours drive we finally arrived in Sullivan and had a pizza for dinner.
On Thursday we left at 7 a.m. and picked some more students up on our way to Branson and we finally got there at noon. First we checked in the hotel. It looked SO pretty from the outside so that the inside was kinda disappointing. xD
Anyways, on Thursday we went to the Titanic Museum and in the evening to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. We sat in an arena and watched a show. It was a mix of singing and dancing, stunt riders and magic combined with a four-course dinner, that was yummy!
On Friday we rode the ducks, we could ride them both on the road as on the water. After that we visited the Believe-It-Or-Not-Museum with lots of unbelievable stuff. :D That was pretty cool. ;D In the evening we had dinner in the Showboat. It was like a cruise, that was amazing!
On Saturday we went to Silver Dollar City, a fun park with rollarcoasters and lots of foooood. :D
Sunday was the worst day because we had to go home! We left at 11 a.m. and I was back at 10 p.m as I was the last person who was dropped off. :/

Anyways, it was looots of FUN. :)

Innsbrook October 2 - 3

Sorry guys that I didn't post anything recently. There was so much stuff going on here and I couldn't find the time to post it.

Sooo, 2 weeks ago I was with Monika and her hostfamily in Innsbrook. That is kinda a resort thing. They own a VERY neat house right next to a lake.
We carved pumpkins (mine was a pirate xD), made a fire, had some smores (so yummy!!), went floating and horse back-riding. :) That was FUN.
