Whenever we have a Volleyball game we send eachother balloons and candy or we make signs and put them on the locker for good luck.
Before the season started the coaches gave each of us a big / little sister. :)It is supposed to be a secret but soon we found out who has who.
I got Crystal. :) She is so amazing. I definetely have the greatest big sister. :D

I thought it is worth posting it here since we have nothing like that in Germany. There is kind of a store in school, called Galley where you can go buy the ballons and the candy (or SCHS clothing e.g. hoodies, tshirts etc.), then you write a card for your sister and somebody will bring it to that person during class. :) So it's pretty funny when you sit in class and somebody walks in and gives you a bunch of balloons. :D

AMERICAN TV :)

I just started last week with watching TV shows I used to watch in Germany like 90210, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill! It's hard to keep track on them though cause these are all new seasons and most of the time even the season before haven't been broadcasted in Germany. ;) SO it's kinda hard to follow what happens. :D

my fav TV channel: CW

Monday: 90210 and Gossip Girl
Tuesday: One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected
Wednesday: Hellcats
Thursday: Vampire Diaries
Friday: Smallville and Supernatural

and another TV shows my friends want me to watch: GLEE!

The 4 days off school felt so good. I didn't have to worry about homework or upcoming quizzes. I just had a great time with friends.
Every weekend seems so busy now. I think while I was in Germany I wasn't that busy with friends but here I am. There is acutally always something to do, unless you have to wait for your friends for a couple of hours to pick you up since everything is so freaking spontaneous over here. :D The time passes by so quickly then and that's kinda sad. I really wish it could be August 3 again. And I feel bad for Rieke. She has only 3 months left. That sucks! Actually I have no reason to complain as I have 8 months left, but still.

I felt really sick the whole day and didn't go to practise. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

@ Lindenwood

We visited the campus of Lindenwood University yesterday. Currently Kim teaches a marketing and business class there and Janet was invited as a guest to speak about the German import. Their aim is to establish a German shop n St. Charles selling typical German food items, clothing etc.
Janet and Kim were talking about that for a long time and now they really want to make it happen with the help of Kim's class.
