Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODYYYY!
So this was my first Christmas in America.
Janet had all the kids from Christmas Eve till Christmas morning. We had a big dinner with ham and apple sauce, mash potatoes and sweet potatoes, corn and salad, yummyy. The whole family maked cookies and helped preparing all the dishes, it was fun! (:
After dinner everybody opened one present and we played a game. At around 10 we headed to the church for midnight mess and came home at like 12ish. And then off to bed so that Santa could come and bring more presents. :D
On Christmas morning we opened the rest of our presents and had a nice breakfast. :)
I got pants, socks, a scarf, lotion, a plate with a D on it and other little decoration stuff. :)
pictures following. (:

I'm really sorry that you've been waiting so long but my internet died, so I couldn't get on for a few days..just to let you know. Anyways,.. there were many things going on I wanna post about.
Last Friday was Robert's birthday party. He's another German exchange student. He lives in Florisaant which is about 20 minutes away from St. Charles. I didn't know him before but apparently his host family is friends with Monika's so the they got to know each other and Monika just asked if I could come to the party and he said yes. :D It was really good, there were lots of other exchange students.. most of them were German though. :D We had a bonfire and Robert played some songs on his guitar. (:
I think the next big thing should be THANKSGIVING.
Tuesday was a halfday and so Monika and I went for lunch somewhere. In the evening we worked in the Spice Shop again that Monika's host mom owns. We gotta clean everything up and get money for it. :D
Wednesday I had to wake up early in the morning to work on the shop again. Afterwards we went to the Turkey Bowl Game at Lindenwood University. That's the annual basketball game between High and West. Surprisingly we lost, haha. Just kidding. :D But before that, Janet and I prepared some dishes for Thanksgiving. It's almost impossible to cook everything on the same day so we had to start earlier. :D
And Thursday? WOHOOO. First Thanksgiving in my life, it was awesooome. When people said there was lots of food, they didn't exaggerate. It IS lots of food!..turkey, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin gooey butter cake, jello, pumpkin cake, pecan cake, blueberry muffins, bread pudding, salad. These are the main things I can think of right now. I ate sooo much. Even 2 days later I'm still full of all the food. :D Haha bet everyone says, Thanksgiving is a very good excuse for eating a lot and gaining weight. :D
Janet got the kids for Thanksgiving and Kim's sons came, too. So it was a nice big family get-together. :D

I'm in the school's newspapeeeeeeer! (: A couple of weeks ago I had an interview with Emily who wrote an article about me and today I finally got to read it. :D It's awesooome. Everybody during lunch was like, 'oooh, I read the article about you!'or 'Hey, aren't you the girl from the newspaper?'. :D There's also an article published about Monika. I try to upload both of them as soon as possible.
Anyways, today I hung out with Monika. After school we went for a short hike at Creve Coeur Lake and after that we ate some home-made pizza and frozen cookie doughs, good mixture right? :D It was soo delicious! Afterwards I got to see Wizard of Oz eventually since I've never seen it before. Too bad that I fell asleep during the movie though. :D I guess I gotta watch it again some time.
Hey guys, guess what! Tomorrow is Friday, that means weekend..yaaaay! I'm gonna let you know what was going on. :)

November 4 - Volleyball Banquet
Tonight I went to the Volleyball banquet at my high school. All volleyball players had dinner together, the coaches gave speeches and handed out awards for everyone. I got the award for the best hustler, haha. :D Besides we got a DVD with pictures of the whole season and other photographs, soo much memory. I was worried that I didn't take enough pictures.. without reason. :D
It was such a goooood feeling to meet them all again. :) Since Volleyball season is over I hardly get to see them, not even in the hall. At the same it was kinda sad as well, to know that is it definetely over now. :/ Well, I had a great time. GO LADY PIRATES.
